Harry Lang Barton 1908 - 2001
A well known illustrator, Harry Barton created covers for the Saturday Evening Post, Down East Magazine, and more. He also created covers for paperback novels, and movie billboards for Metro-Goldwyn Mayer. Barton lived and worked in New York City, spendng summers in Kennebunkport, Rocport, and on Cape Cod. Barton was a member of the Salmagundi Club, the American Artists Professional League, and the Art Students League.
