George Pearce Ennis (1884 - 1936)

Two finely rendered works by New York and Eastport, Maine aritst. Ennis studied with William Merritt Chase and also at the Homes Art School, Chicago, and at Washington University. He was active in the Boston Art Club, the Salmagundi Club, the American Watercolor Society, and the Society of Independent Artists. He also exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago, the Pennsylvania Academy, the Corcoran, and the National Academy.
