Fine impressionist work from the collection of Alice Tully (NYC and Carnegie Hall). Callot was born in La Rochelle, France. He studied with Jules Lefebvre and Tony Robert-Fleury. From 1898 to 1936 he exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais, where in 1920 he was awarded a gold medal and became an elected member. He also exhibited at the Salon de la Societe Nationale des Beaux-Arts.
