Pennsylvania artist Eleanor Abrams was a member of the Philadelphia Ten. Born to a wealthy family, she wintered in Bermuda for many years. Abrams studied at the Philadelphia School of Design with Henry Snell and Elliott Daingerfield and also in Gloucester with Snell and in North Carolina with Daingerfield. An original member of the Ten, she shared a studio with Lucile Howard and Cora Brooks, and a New York studio with Elizabeth Price and Lucile Howard.
