New York artist Clinton Ogilvie studied with James MacDougal Hart and later in Paris, traveling and painting throughout Europe. He is best known for his landscapes painted in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the White Mountains. Ogilvie exhibited at the Boston Athenaeum, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Brooklyn Art Association, and at the National Academy of Design for almost 40 years.
